FAROUK NEFZI
Marketing & Brand Director, Feadship
Theme: "Current market analysis, Covid 19´influences on the industry and an insight into the world of millenials"
The Marketing and Brand Director of the Dutch Feadship shipyard talks about the current large yacht market, the impact of Cov-19 on the yacht industry and whether the market will be saturated in the near future. To this end, he has been intensively studying the increasingly younger superyacht owners - the so-called millenials - and reveals to us what this environmentally conscious and digitally permanently networked clientele expects from a yacht.

ANDERS KURTÉN
CEO, Baltic Yachts
Theme: "A Sustainable Approach to Building Sailing Superyachts"
The motto of the Finnish Baltic shipyard "lighter, stiffer, faster" has recently been supplemented by the enhanced adjective "greener". The first proof of the seriousness of the sustainability efforts is provided by the 68-foot-long Café Racer, half of whose hull is made of flax fiber and whose operation requires no fossil fuels. At GSC, Baltic's CEO will speak about implementing green technologies in larger sailing yacht projects.

PROFESSOR HARALD GUMBILLER
owner "Big Joy"
Theme: "How to end up with your perfect custom yacht"
The orthopedic specialist uses the 27-meter compact explorer "Big Joy" together with his wife, two children and no crew at all. Because the market did not offer a suitable yacht, the acupuncture professor had it built according to his own ideas at the Turkish Arkin Pruva shipyard. The family yacht serves the Gumbillers in the Mediterranean as a base for kitesurfing adventures and they market the concept under the name German Explorer. A story about great happiness on a tailor-made yacht.

Hydrogen is no longer just a propulsion dream in superyachting either. This involves a test rig that simulates fuel cell implementation in a new yacht.
